【Elmo小課堂】鼠年到底是“Rat”年還是“Mouse”年？

即將邁入的鼠年，標志著中國農歷新年進入了一個新的輪轉。在國際化日漸完備的如今，母語拜年已經成了“傳統(tǒng)節(jié)目”，英語拜年又陷阱不斷，今天我們就來聊聊生肖的官方英文名吧~

不論是鼠年，還是牛年，英文開頭都可以是“Year of the”然后加上動物名稱~這個地方要注意的是：雖然在英語中，不同的詞也可以表示同一個動物，但用在生肖上卻不能混淆。

 

比如猴年是 Year of the Monkey，但雞年卻不是 Year of the Chicken，為什么呢？讓我們一起來學習生肖的名稱吧~

生肖的英文是 Chinese zodiac sign 或是 Chinese animal sign ，至于十二種動物的名稱如下：
